This policy explains what data we process when you use calcula·ro and why. In short: the calculators run in your browser, and the values you enter are not sent to our servers.
Who we are
calcula·ro (“we”) provides informational calculators. For any data question, email us at [email protected].
What we collect
The calculators run locally in your browser — the values you type never reach our servers. We only collect aggregate analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate country) to understand what is useful.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to remember preferences such as your theme (light/dark). Analytics and advertising providers may set their own cookies under their policies.
Advertising
We may show ads via third-party networks (e.g. Google AdSense). These can use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can manage preferences in your Google account or browser settings.
Embedded widgets
When you embed a calculator on another site, it loads in an iframe from calcula·ro. We do not receive the values entered by the host site’s visitors; the same rules above apply.
Third-party services
We use external sources for some features (e.g. central-bank rates, geographic data). Those requests may expose your IP address to the relevant provider, solely to deliver the feature.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, erase and object to processing of personal data. Because we create no accounts and store none of your input, the personal data we hold is minimal. Contact us at [email protected].
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above whenever we revise it.
